Jason McGuire

Owner

When Jason McGuire walks into a standard, simple space, he can almost immediately envision what the completed renovation will look like. The design process is very important to him, as it identifies a clients needs and wants, so he can prioritize the areas to put into focus.

A graduate of Fanshawe College, he studied Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Communications, so the customer service aspect of this business comes easy to him. Growing up learning from his father, with a background in renovations, a mechanic and a plumber by trade, it definitely runs in the family. His fathers unbelievable work ethic is what inspired him to become his own boss. In December of 2014, that’s just what he did by starting London Renovations and it’s been a great journey ever since!

While he values his clients thoughts and opinions, he continually educates himself on current trends so he can provide them with the best possible solutions. A decorative wood wall panelling is one of his specialties, to provide the space with a unique edge. His go to paint colours are always by Benjamin Moore; ‘Kendall Charcoal’, ‘Hale Navy’ and ‘Gentleman’s Gray’, with the most used white being ‘Simply White’, hands down.

Jason has had the pleasure of being inspired by, and working with, some amazing local designers, including (but not limited to); Jillian Summers, Angela Bobanovic, Martha Huk and Erica Sibley. Architecture is also a huge passion of his, with inspiration coming from; Frank Gehry and Alex Nerovnya. When he’s not knee deep in a new project, you can find him spending time with his girls, on the golf course or researching the latest, greatest tool he just has to have.
